Here you will find our general conditions. The conditions apply to all bookings with us, including bookings via our websites. If you have any questions, please contact the hotel, either by email post@narvikhotelwivel.no or by phone +47 76 94 45 55.
General conditions
The number of people involved, price, accommodation and other products and services to be supplied by the hotel will be specified in the confirmation the guest receives after booking.
Validity of the price agreement
The agreed prices are binding for both parties; however, the hotel reserves the right to adjust the prices as a result of changed costs due to increased taxes and duties, or other circumstances beyond the hotel’s control.
Change and cancellation
The type of cancellation rules that apply to your booking depends on the type of booking you have completed. Always check which rules apply to your booking. These appear on your booking confirmation.
For bookings made directly with the hotel, the deadline for cancellation is no later than 12:00 on the day of arrival. If the deadline is not met, the guest may be sent an invoice for the booking.
18 years age limit
For guests who do not travel with their parents, we have an age limit of 18. The hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking if valid identification cannot be presented.
Payment
Cash payment
Narvik Hotel Wivel is a cashless hotel and therefore does not have cash as a payment option.
Card payment
Narvik Hotel Wivel accepts payment from the following credit card companies: Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Diners and Eurocard. For orders via our website, we accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Diners.
Security on the website
Narvik Hotel Wivel, as well as our partner companies, will use the information you provide for transactions on the website. Such information includes credit and payment card information as well as addresses for deliveries and invoices.
Narvik hotel Wivel takes all reasonable steps to protect the information you provide in this area in connection with transactions.
Check-in and check-out times
Booked hotel rooms are guaranteed to be ready for check-in from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time will normally be at 11.00 on the day of departure.
Liability for damage
The guest, or the person standing as guarantor for the room, is responsible for damage to the premises as a result of negligence or irresponsible behaviour of the guests. We remind you that all rooms at Narvik Hotel Wivel are non-smoking. In case of violation, the hotel will demand compensation for additional washing of the room. This compensation is set at NOK 2,000 and will be debited from the final bill of the guest who is responsible for the room.
